WHAT WE BELIEVE

ONE GOD

There is one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

THE BIBLE

The Holy Bible is God's living and inspired word through which we can discover Him. It is central to all that we believe and do as a church.

JESUS CHRIST

Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit , born of the virgin Mary and led an impeccable and sinless life

VIRGIN BIRTH

The Lord Jesus was born of the virgin Mary and was conceived of the Holy Spirit of God.

DEATH & RESURRECTION

The Lord Jesus Christ, in the eternal purpose of God, died upon the cross. On the third day, He rose from the dead, thus conquering death.

SIN

Each individual descended from Adam is a sinner by nature in God's eyes. The whole of humankind is subject to God's wrath and condemnation.

SALVATION

Sinners can be saved from the guilt, penalty and power of sin only by grace  through the sacrificial death and shed blood of God's provided substitute, Jesus Christ. Once a person has repented of their sin and trusted Christ as Lord and Saviour, that person can never lose their Salvation.

THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit alone makes the work of Christ effective to individual sinners, enabling them to turn to God from their sin and by faith, trust in Him as saviour and Lord.
