THE GOOD NEWS

The Bible says "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3 vs 16).

The "world" here indicates all mankind. The extent of God's love is shown by the fact "that he gave His only begotten Son".

​

The Bible also says "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3 vs 23). We are all sinners before God. As sinners, we are heading towards the judgement of God.

​

However, we have Good News! The Bible says "whosoever believeth in Him should not perish". There is no need for anyone to perish. A way has been provided by which we can all be saved. But we must acknowledge the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour. When someone does this, they obtain eternal as a present possession. The Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, in order to provide a way that we might be delivered from the judgement of God.

How can we be saved?

​

"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved" (Acts 16 vs 31).
